My name is Joey Lapetina and I am committed to building custom, quality, affordable, websites, and providing top notch related services to small businesses, organizations, and anyone who wants a home on the web.
Where it all started
I have been working in digital media and website design, as a hobby, for the last seven years. In 2005 I created a Flash fan site for a game I played called World of Warcraft. My fan site was linked to from the official game site and I had over two hundred thousand visitors in the first few weeks alone.
The next few months I was bombarded with requests from people to help them with other fan sites, college projects, and “real world” work. Some of those Jobs I took, and that’s how I became a freelance web designer. I was known, in the game world, as The Epic Joe and, since my web design popularity sprang from gamming, that’s how I have been known since.
The last two years I have been building websites, working on courseware projects, and reading all the books I can find on everything from branding, marketing, and design to CSS, PHP, and MySQL. I am also attending NHMCCD and working towards a design degree.
I met my wife in Dallas, we had a daughter in Italy, we live in Houston, and I can work with you anywhere in the world.
